WHAT IS NO WIN NO FEE?

No win no fee is a method of funding court action and is most commonly applied to personal injury cases. If a solicitor takes on your case on a no win no fee basis, they are basically agreeing that, in the event of the failure of your claim, you will not have to pay any of their fees. The legal term for this is a conditional fee agreement.

It should be noted that there might be additional costs that you will in fact have to pay if your claim fails: for example, you may be required to pay your opponents court costs. It is advisable to take out a special insurance policy to cover these costs and any other expenses you may have to pay.

However, at Archer & Archer, our funding arrangements, once accepted, mean that nothing is payable in the event of the failure of your claim as we have bank funding in place to cover the insurance premium together with expenses payable in the running of your case.

Please contact us to discuss our no win no fee arrangements in detail. We will assess your claim and provide you with a full written estimate of all costs likely to be involved.
