We are happy to advise you about these special cases: contact us for details. These protocols exist to help settle cases quickly and avoid time-consuming and expensive court cases. If you begin professional negligence proceedings, Baehrs will take the following steps on your behalf. We will write to the professional with details of your claim and ask them to notify their insurance company. This letter should be acknowledged within 21 days. After this, the professional is given 3 months to investigate the claim. Following the investigation, the professional must send a letter of response, confirming whether they wish to admit liability or defend the claim. A separate letter of settlement will either offer of a remedy or outline the areas that are still in dispute. At this point we will discuss with you whether it is better to accept an offered settlement or commence court proceedings.
