What it will cost
Our fees are based on the time spent. Our charging rates depend upon the type and complexity of the work, who carries it out and what is at stake.
We will be pleased to give you an indication of our charging rate before you first come in to see us.
At the beginning of your case, we will give you the best estimate that we can of the likely total cost. We will review this estimate from time to time during the case and will notify you at once if our estimate of the cost changes.
We will deliver interim bills every month or so which keeps you up-to-date on the costs of the case as they arise.
At the end of the case we will deliver a final bill for all the work done. At that point we will consider whether there are exceptional features which would justify a higher charging rate originally quoted, or indeed would indicate that a lower charging rate was appropriate. We would never charge at a higher rate without discussing the matter with you beforehand.
