What it will cost
Eric Baehr charges at the rate applied in local courts when deciding how much the unsuccessful party to litigation should pay to the successful party.
As a solicitor qualified for more than 8 years and who has specialised in litigation
for more than 8 years, Eric is regarded by the courts for costs purposes
as a 'Senior Solicitor' and charges at the approved rate for 'Senior Solicitors',
which is currently £203 per hour plus VAT.
At the beginning of your case, we will give you the best estimate that we can of the likely total cost. We will review this estimate from time to time during the case and will notify you at once if our estimate of the cost changes.
We will deliver interim bills every month or so which keeps you up-to-date on the costs of the case as they arise.
At the end of the case we will deliver a final bill for all the work done. At that point we will consider whether there are exceptional features which would justify a higher charging rate, or indeed would indicate that a lower charging rate was appropriate. We would never charge at a higher rate without discussing the matter with you beforehand.
