We deal with all aspects of buying or selling a house, including buy-to-let purchases, remortgages, deeds of gift, transfers of equity, equity release schemes and right to buy. Because our firm is small we are able to deliver a truly personal service. Beware larger firms that claim personal attention but do not deliver!

French Property

We are pleased to include in our services assistance concerning buying or selling property in France (including liaising with French lawyers). We also advise on the law of inheritance in France.

Wills, Trusts and Probate

A basic will is often appropriate, but clients with substantial value in their homes or other assets may wish to obtain advice on tax planning.

We undertake all aspects of work relating to the administration of estates including advice concerning Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.

Contentious Probate

We can advise if you have a problem relating to a disputed will.

You may require a change of name deed in connection with a passport application, and we offer a speedy service.

Swearing of Affidavits

We can assist you in obtaining any necessary affidavits including executor’s oaths, statutory declarations and certification. We charge the standard swearing fees. We can also help with the witnessing of documents.

Mortgage Deeds

If you require witnessing or advice in connection with mortgage deeds (for example if your solicitor is not local) please enquire about our fee.
