Neil Carson
– Executive
Email: ncarson@huggins-law.co.uk
Neil started his legal career 39 years ago and one of his first
assignments as a young man was to serve a writ on a captain
on a ship in Sheerness. He was obliged to haul himself up the
ship to find the captain and serve the writ on him. It is not
how he had envisaged his legal career but fortunately this did
not put him off.
Neil rejoined the firm in June 2005. He deals with general litigation
and his long years “in service” mean that he brings
with him a wealth of knowledge for both private and commercial
clients. He has the dubious honour of having not one but two
of the cases that he dealt with reported in the Law Reports
in light of their importance. Neil is also a member of the Association
of Personal Injury Lawyers. He has close links with both local
businesses and the wider community. He is a member of Business
Network International. This is an international organisation
that brings together local business people to exchange ideas
and refer work to each other. In his spare time he works on
keeping his wife in the manner in which she tells him she is
accustomed! Neil is a passionate musician and in his youth he
played with a number of swing bands in the West End. He is also
actively engaged in charitable work.
Neil has a peculiar fascination for courts because when he is
not litigating in them he is busy conducting guided tours round
the High Court of Justice in London.
