Nicky joined our ever growing litigation department in 2005.
He has 10 years of litigation experience having assisted the
head of the litigation department of his last firm for 8 years.
He undertakes a range of litigation work including debt recovery,
personal injury, property disputes, land ownership and boundary
disputes, breach of contract matters, partnership disputes and
professional negligence.
Nicky also acts for local businesses on licensing applications
under the new regime brought about by the Licensing Act 2003.
He particularly enjoys the cut and thrust of litigation and
appearing before Judges of the local County Courts and the High
Court. However, he is also firmly in favour of mediation as
an alternative method of resolving disputes and he promotes
early settlement with a view to saving costs whenever possible.
Nicky is a confident, friendly and very sociable individual.
Out of hours he is likely to be found living it up in a trendy
restaurant or bar/club. He has also taken up Latin American
and salsa dancing.
