This Department is committed to providing prompt and practical advice to clients. We can demonstrate a high level of commitment and understanding to help clients through what is often a difficult and emotional period.

We can provide professional advice and assistance following the breakdown of marriage and relationship. We can act for clients in relation to divorce proceedings and assist them in reaching an appropriate financial settlement. We also specialise in children matters, including securing contact and residence with children and obtaining Parental Responsibility for unmarried fathers.

The services we provide are confidential. We offer free initial advice where clients are fully appraised of all the options available. After the free initial advice clients are under no obligation to take matters further, but in every case considerable thought is given to resolving issues with the minimum of expense and stress for the client.

We are also able to offer advice to clients who qualify for Public Funding (formerly Legal Aid) and this is considered at the free initial consultation.
