Oldhams Solicitors & Advocates is a practice dealing with most types of civil and criminal litigation. Three of our four partners hold part-time judicial appointments connected to their specialist areas. The firm holds a Legal Aid Franchise in the areas of Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal Law and Immigration Law.

Although we deal with a wide range of contentious work, we can also offer specialised advice as we have a number of individual departments which are entirely separate and can provide a very high degree of expertise in each area. All our lawyers are fully qualified solicitors. This is of particular benefit to clients as all solicitors are subject to strict rules of professional conduct as laid down by the Law Society and must hold compulsory indemnity insurance to ensure that clients will be fully compensated if an error does occur. Many clients are not aware of the dangers of instructing unqualified legal representatives who do not hold such insurance. 

We have invested heavily in the most up to date IT systems and all our fee earners can be accessed by email directly if clients find this more convenient. In addition, we can see clients at a time which suits them; if necessary in the evening or at the weekend. We also offer home visits in appropriate cases if clients cannot make it to the office.
