Martin Oldham
LLB (Hons) Manchester MA (Hons) Keele Admitted 1976.
Martin Oldham is the Partner who heads our Childcare, Family and Matrimonial Department and is also a leading Criminal Practitioner. He is a member of the Law Societys Children Panel. He has represented numerous high profile offenders and has appeared regularly on television and radio. He was the founding Partner of Oldhams. He sits as a Recorder of the Crown Court and has rights of Audience as a Solicitor-Advocate in all the criminal courts. He was Lecturer in Criminology at Northumberland University and was the author of The Practical Guide to Criminal Law in 1990.
Clive Broe
Admitted 1980.
Clive Broe is a Partner in our Criminal and Immigration Departments. He has over twenty five years experience of criminal law and is a qualified legal trainer. He is an Immigration Appeal Adjudicator and has a special interest in Human Rights matters. He was formerly an authorised Public Prosecutor of Zimbabwe and a Consultant to the Home Office Research Programme into the Criminal Procedures Investigation Act 1996. He teaches Judicial Administration at the Royal Institute of Public Administration.
Ben Singh

Ben Singh is the Partner who heads our Personal Injury Department. He is a member of the Law Societys Personal Injury Panel and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also a part- time Chairman of the Social Security Appeals Service and so can provide advice on benefits entitlement. He speaks fluent Punjabi and lectured to ILEX students at Dunstable College from 1989 to 1999.
James Hennessey

James Hennessey is a Partner in our Criminal Department. He was previously a Probation Officer and Court Welfare Officer for a number of years. He is also the official welfare benefits advisor for the firm. He is a member of the committee at our local Citizens Advice Bureau and in the past has been a lecturer in Criminal Law at Dunstable College.

Sylvia Phillips

Sylvia Phillips trained with a specialist personal injury law firm in London and has experience of conducting a wide range of personal injury claims, including amputation injury, whiplash and psychiatric injury claims. She works within the personal injury department. She also handles the Employment matters within the firm, including disability discrimination, having attained top grades in this area during training.
Susan Swan

Susan Swan is a solicitor in our Criminal Department who started working for
us as a paralegal in 2001. She completed her training with us and was
admitted as a solicitor in April 2004. She has experience in a wide range
of criminal matters from advising suspects at a police station to preparing
a case for trial.
Amanda Powell
LLB (Hons) Southampton
Admitted 2005
Amanda Powell is a solicitor in our Childcare, Family and Matrimonial
Department. She completed her training with us and was admitted as a
solicitor in January 2005. She deals with divorce, separation and
related fianancial issues, domestic violence, disputes involving
children, Change of Name Deeds and Cohabitation Agreements.
Emma Raeburn

Admitted 2005
Emma Raeburn is a Solicitor in our Criminal Department and also
specialises in Public Child Care law. Emma has a wide range of
experience including attending upon suspects at the Police Station,
since becoming an accredited Police Station representative in January
2004. Emma primarily carries out work at the Magistrates Court and
Family Proceedings Court but also has experience of County Court Child
Care cases.
